Robert Bidney

A seasoned performer who connects with his audiences through his infectious energy and emotional performances, Robert Bidney has been writing songs for most of his life. He has recorded three studio albums, while an eclectic array of artists around the world have also covered his songs with meaning – songs that define him and reveal his soul. His creativity and commercial awareness merged while Bidney was employed by advertising agencies for which he wrote and produced a number of national radio and TV jingles for clients and worked closely with many top musicians, producers and songwriters throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Thank Goodness, Bidney’s third album, was released on August 1, 2023. Featuring eight songs inspired by the recent changes and challenges we've experienced, it was among the 50 most-played albums on folk radio that month according to charts compiled by Folk Alliance International. Bidney is a winner in the 2023 First Annual “Music for Humanity” Songwriting Contest with his song, “It's All About The Love.”

Also, Bidney is a finalist in the 2023 International Acoustic Music Awards under their “Folk/Americana/Roots” category for his song, “Rush Of Hope.”
